Assistant Treasurer
Mildred Yeguez Francois is an enthusiastic and very proactive Venezuelan national. She pursued studies in Education, Major English at the Pedagogic University of Caracas in Venezuela for four (4) years. She hold a Diploma in Sales & Marketing Management form ROYTEC and a Specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the European University of the Atlantic in Madrid, Spain. She is presently a Foreign Language Tutor for the SIS at the Ministry of Education and a Spanish teacher for 3 primary schools.
Mildred spontaneous personality allows her to easily approach individuals in any situation. She believes that she is capable of performing other roles out of the classroom environment once the proper guidelines have been provided. She considers herself a fast learner, well organized and committed person. She place God first in all her tasks and she seek to achieve at all times. She listen to advices and weight her decisions. She does her very best not to compromise her family, her God and her job. She don’t tolerate disrespect, unkindness, injustice and advantageous people.
Volleyball is her favorite sport. She played middle blocker in high school. However while in college she became to swim. In 2019, she became part of the Executive Board for Challengers Volleyball Club. her natural way of approaching people and speaking perfectly two languages allowed her to be the face and arms of her club. As Club Manager in collaboration with the Head Coach she have organized the structure of the club, revised the Constitution, organized events, kept accounts of the financial records, maintained the inventory of uniforms and equipment and targeted supportive sponsors.
Participating in the Executive Board of Trinidad and Tobago Volleyball Federation has given her aspirations to climb higher steps in order to support the development of Volleyball in Trinidad and Tobago. She is happy to serve and excited to learn. As a Manager she sees herself claiming respect and equal opportunities for all players. She will stand for positioning volleyball as an affordable, accessible and achievable sport. A sport open to all ages and all social levels. A sport that builds the character of its players by allowing them to take part not only in the court but in the management of their clubs.
