Mr. Daymian K E Stewart is an Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology Graduate of UTT. He also was formerly trained in Project Management, Customer Service, Public Speaking and completed an advance diploma in Sport Management. Stewart started serving as a Sport Administrator in 1994 when he became the Vice President of the North Zone at the tender age nineteen (19) years.

 

Stewart is employed with the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission as a Senior Supervisor - in Training, he also is a Director in a family owned company SPORT LAB - specializing in Construction, Event Management and General Consultancy.

In Volleyball, Stewart showed a special love for organizing events and he was recruited by the then General Secretary of the TTVF Mushtaque Mohammed to be the PRO of the Federation. Stewart joined the TTVF board in 1996 as the P.R.O. Stewart faced the electoral AGM seven (7) times unopposed serving in many different positions. 1996 - PRO, 2000 - 2nd Vice President, 2004 - 1st Vice President, 2008 - Delegate Vice President, 2012 - President, 2018 - Delegate Vice President and 2020 - President.

Stewart also serves as the Executive Director of CAZOVA, the Secretary of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Commission and as a FIVB Beach Volleyball Technical Delegate. In these positions Stewart served the Continent and Region on many Control Committees for Beach and Indoor Volleyball.

Stewart has been credited for many innovations within the TTVF namely the Caribbean Volleyball League (CVL), Mini Volleyball Festival, the New National League (Super & Premier Division), Community Program and Easter Weekends Players League. He also engineered our first appearance on the World Beach Volleyball Tour and Pan American Games.

Stewart is this countries first Certified Beach Volleyball Coach and the TTVF's first Technical Director for Beach Volleyball. He played for the National Senior Men's Indoor Team in 2001 and won the National Championship in 2001, 2002 and 2003 with Big SEPOS Volleyball Club. He was also a founding member of Technocrats Volleyball club and La Cura Sport.
